It's the FA Cup of Comedy!

The prestigious British Comedian of the Year competition is rolling into Cambridge for one of the 26 heats taking place throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Open to comedians of all levels including TV names, it offers the biggest cash prize in UK comedy of £10,00 to go alongside the glamorous title of British Comedian of the Year 2026.

Hundreds of comedians applied to take part but only a select number were chosen for the heats, and only one person will eventually take home the cash!

On the night itself each act performs 10 minutes of their best material and you, the audience, vote to see who goes through to the semi-finals. The power is yours! Will the young upstarts beat the TV names, will the rising stars beat the seasoned pros? It's up to you...
