Juliette Burton is an award-winning performer, writer, presenter, and broadcast journalist. She has
performed solo shows at Gilded Balloon since 2013, with sell out seasons in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and
2023. These seasons included seven critically acclaimed hours (When I Grow Up in 2013, Look At Me in
2014 and 2015, Decision Time in 2016, Butterfly Effect in 2017 and 2018, Defined in 2019, No Brainer in
2023 and Hopepunk in 2024). She has performed at Festivals around the world including Leicester Comedy
Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and New Zealand International
Comedy Festival. In 2015 Juliette won the Argus Angel Award at Brighton Fringe Look At Me and Voice
Magazine Pick of the Fringe 2017 for Butterfly Effect. In May 2025 Juliette’s show Going Rogue was
shortlisted for Best New Show at Brighton Fringe 2025.

Juliette’s TV and radio credits include The One Show (BBC1), This Morning (ITV), Skin Deep and Feeling Kind of Funny
(both BBC Scotland), BBC At Edinburgh Festivals (BBC iPlayer), BBC Tomorrow’s World and Afternoon Edition (BBC
Radio 5 Live). She was listed by The Telegraph in 2019 as one of the top 10 audiobook narrators alongside Stephen
Fry, Emma Thompson and Steve Coogan. As a writer, Juliette has contributed to The Independent, i Newspaper,
Cosmopolitan and BBC News. She is an ambassador for mental health charity Rethink Mental Illness, and supporter
of Mind, Chasing The Stigma, MQ Mental Health and B-eat.
